    The Chappell Curricular Philosophy

Our complete curriculum is richly enhanced by the tried and true Chappell curriculum developed in 1958 by Mrs. LaDauskie Chappell. It has continued to evolve to include the most current philosophies for teaching. Our primary goal is to assist parents with the development of the TOTAL CHILD – cognitively, physically, emotionally, socially and creatively. Our protocol for child development is centralized in a safe, secure and stimulating environment where nurturing, learning, exploring and enrichment are integral components of the process. Only developmentally appropriate materials, equipment and activities are used to project the concepts and skills of each age-level. Our curriculum reflects the developmental approach to teaching which supports our philosophy that children learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process. Emphasis is on simple tasks which motivate children to become successful, confident and life long learners. Our award-winning curriculum is enhanced by appropriate Fine Arts, Teddy Bear Teas, “Fine Dining” and etiquette.
