Two Year Olds
With blossoming vocabularies and language skills, two year-olds
are constantly building relationships. They have a need for
independence yet require a constant sense of security from their
caregivers as they begin to develop new skills, concepts and social
skills. Our teachers provide consistent nurturing and guidance
during this exciting year of development. Two year-olds learn
through trial and error and through pretend play; reading and
fingerplays our two year-olds are learning letters and numbers,
which lay the groundwork for reading and writing skills. The
Chappell Curriculum creates a social, emotional, intellectual and
creative climate that supports child-initiated and child-pursued
learning.
